Be a "Try Athlete"

Try Walking for your legs and heart. Start with five minutes, three times a week. Add 2 minutes per week for 6 weeks, then add 2-3 minutes per week for 6 more weeks.

GOAL: 2 miles three times a week at 12 weeks.

 

Try Strengthening your arm muscles.Start with 2 pounds of weight in each hand. ( a pint of water =one pound). Bring hands up to face level bending elbows. Five times at once, three times a week for 2 weeks. Then 10 times. Then more weight.

GOAL: 10 pounds, 10 times, three repetitions, three times each week.

 

Try Eating Less Fat. Start with 2% milk for a month (whole milk is 3+% and babies need it up to 4-5 years for brain food). Then mix 2% with equal parts of 1% for a month or so. (Go slowly for family cooperation). Then 1% for a month. Then skim ½% or less.

GOAL: Less than 12% forever.

 



Try Stopping this first!

Smoke first cigarette one hour later each day for 25 days. Smoke as much as you like until midnight.

Nicotine patches or gum really do help.
