YOUR BODY- YOUR TEMPLE

POSTURE - Mom said: "For Heaven's sake, stand up straight". Head held high on long neck. Tummy in. Buttocks in. Feet firm, about to step out.
BALANCE - Stand on one foot. Hold on if needed. 5 times each day, goal=10 seconds. Stand on one foot waiting in lines.
GRACE - Posture and balance in motion. Book on head. Walking backward (with help at first). Skipping (ask your children or grandchildren).
STRENGTH - Sit down and stand up twice every time. Get 2 to 4 # weights, lift 10 times every other day. Bent knee sit-up, called abdominal curls, 3-8 every other day. Eat less fat, 30% of diet, more fiber. 1500 mgm calcium.
VIGOR - Walk daily, briskly, start with 5 minutes twice daily. Add 2 minutes each week, goal=2 to 3 miles in 30-40 min, about 6 weeks.
Eat less fat, more fiber, 25 gm/day. Multiple vitamins and minerals daily, plus C 500mgm ; E 400u.
HUMOR - Every day find a joke to read. Laugh often. Smile hourly at something. Smile back always, smile first often.
BEAUTY- Combine all these ingredients and feel good about yourself. Beauty shows on the outside and you feel it on the inside.
SPIRIT- That part inside you which grows more beautiful with use.
