Dear Nancy,
Two reasons at least. First
feet tend to swell into your shoes as you work which makes them tighten
and cut off blood supply. Secondly, the bigger muscles take up more of
the working blood and feet get on the short end of the stick. Lastly,
there is an odd nerve lesion called Morton's Neuroma, usually between
toes 3 and 4 at the end of the foot and beginning of toes which really
makes tingly pain, sometimes severly. Best and simplest advice, get
larger shoes and socks. If it continues, check with your doctor re
circulatory problems.
